First day
Hi all, well this is my first day of trying to go sober. Wish me a luck. I stopped a couple of years ago for 3 months. I've had anxiety all my life. I think alcohol has had a lot to do with it. Thanks for any support.

I'm sure we will. I just want to get through today so I can at least have 1 day with no alcohol. Last time I stopped it got a lot easier by day 5. After that I didn't even think about alcohol. Biggest problem for me is lack of sleep.

Thank You! made it through day 1. Other than the insomnia, it went quite well.
I'm ready for day 2 to be behind me. Just want look ahead. Its hard to except that I got myself in this situation.

Good job! Have you thought about a plan? Now sounds like a perfect time for AA. Even if it ends up not being your chosen program, it would be a great start. An active program of recovery is truly vital.
