Happy birthday to me - I'm divorced

Hi everyone - Thank you so much for your responses to my post last night.

We went to court today and it was over relatively quickly. I was able to keep the sadness in check but since I've gotten home I'm not having much success in doing that. Par for the course, I suspect.

I do feel like a weight has been lifted. Or rather, like my car was stuck in the mud and now I'm moving forward a little.

Divorce is a strange gift for the universe to give me on my birthday, but I guess that's what I needed this year.

Happy Birthday and congrats on new beginnings! I found out that my divorce came through on my birthday week as well - it was a strange feeling.
