Change is hard

Had 10 days and caved. I guess it's better than drinking for 10 days though. Trying to do better.

getting sober was the hardest thing i ever did- harder than fighting cancer, which i did starting 13 months into recovery.
staying sober has been easy. worth every second of fight i had to fight.
BUT
it took a willingness to do whatever i had to do to get sober, which required a LOT of action.

Mandy, you made it 10 days and that's good. You can do it again, and this time you can be prepared for problems and cravings. Have a plan and know what you will do.

The key to staying sober is wanting to be sober more than you want to drink.

Nothing worth fighting for is ever easy, but it IS worth fighting for.

You CAN do it this time. What's your plan?

That's not a guess. You know that is true.

Change IS hard, but change is possible.
Therefore, hope is reasonable.

Learn. Grow. Prosper.

You got this.
