Being clean and sober...no drugs other than vitamins and creatine...is a new thing...15 months out of 30 plus years...

So what is my life now....?

I was tired yest. Tough week at work. Hit the gym earlyish.... Blah blah. Fell asleep before 10pm. Couldn't keep my eyes open. Woke up sober as usual around 415 am. So 6 hours str8. Perfect. I work the early shift so this is fine.

Enjoyed a serene morning as the sun rose. Didn't watch it, should have, but I did see the light gradually brighten.

This goes on and on...day by day. Blah blah...this is life. This is not boring. This is serene sober life.

Day by day. Counting my blessings. Thank God, as usual, I am sober today.

Up at 7, sober and fresh. A bit stiff as I've been decorating, but hey I've been working hard and I'm 50, soon eased as I got going.
Lovely day in UK, lots more to do, so got on with it. The nice stuff, pictures up, putting stuff back, feeling pleased with the results.
sober friend over for lunch, not seen her for ages so the bonding was lovely. We took my dog on a country walk and talked each others socks off.
my daughter swung by and lost her temper with me and I lost my temper with her, we'll be fine. I should've known better, but I'll get there.
All good, all sober, lots to be grateful for. If not totally serene, on the way.
