Relationship dynamics: Alcoholic VS codependent

I found this talk so helpful. It break downs dynamics of codependent VS alcoholic/addict and it's cause.

I can relate to many patterns of the codependent behaviour. Even the look at childhood fits. It helped me understand a lot of my actions /reactions while living with an addict and puts light in it.

Hi kids .. there are times when I look at my hubby I see him as a 9 year old or times when he is so much like his Mom... times I know her behavior killed Charlie and I tell him so up front... he part of a new study on a pain med that is supposed to be better for him.... he is showing a lot of the signs of the morphine behavior.. and rashing out on his legs... its hard kids really hard... the best thing I have is this SR sight and so many of you... Stand Tall Hold the High Ground and as a Mom tell the kid to sit down and behave....and no or else.....prayers to all ardy

Maya, I don't think that link works. I tried to find where you were referring to but am not sure which one you mean. Maybe post it again?
