Here I am,

back on the pink cloud and enjoying myself,

I don't know whether that's a good thing or not but I sure am enjoying my sobriety and freedom. I've been to watch the football today with my 2 young boys and what a day we had,

Now time to settle down with the wife and kids to watch a movie and get the chocolate fountain on the go,

thats a good thing as long as you remember that eventually the pink cloud will pass and youll need a pink parachute.

thats very refreshing to read!
that pink cloud thing scared the crap out of me early on. i was going to aa meetings and hearing people in detox say they were on a pink cloud and it burst. my sponsor explained what a pink cloud was and told me that when i have the experience remember, as with hard times,
this,too, shall pass.
but they sure felt great after years or misery!!

I have been blessed with lots of pink cloud time in my 159 days. One time I was discussing it with my sponsor and she said something interesting - think of the pink cloud as the best peace, the calm, the good things in the life you want to live. That's what you're aiming for. Remember the pink cloud times and look for them in your life as it keeps unfolding.

I've had a number of pink clouds too. I wish someone had told me to get the parachute ready when I was on the first one. Yea, the old saying was true: It's not the fall that'll get ya. It's the landing.
