Hi All

Hello All.
Newcomer here! I've been reading the forums most of the day and got a lot from posts and blogs but wanted to post. I stopped drinking on Saturday (After a 5 day binge of bottles of vodka) (each day at a time) but fingers crossed I know I can do it and quit and get the help I need this time. Feel like pure death but trying to kill the shakes, back pain and sweats with tablets, juice and showers.
Glad that I have found this forum.
Thanks

Welcome to SR fallingfeathers and congrats on your decision to quit. You'll find a lot of support and understanding here. Don't be afraid to seek medical help if the withdrawal symptoms get too severe, better to be safe than sorry!

This is a wonderful place! Please listen as others said, and do NOT fear going to the doctor if withdrawal symptoms are present. It's not safe and they can greatly ameliorate your suffering. Welcome to SR!

Welcome to SR falling feather. Sounds like your going through a bit of withdrawal, no way around it--just have to tough it out. Question regarding your name, are you native american? Just curious and you don't have to answer if you are not comfortable. Look forward to reading more of your posts.

Hi. I'm not native american but I am an Angelic Reiki master & Shamanic Healer. Well until I fell off the wagon yet again :/
