44oz blue raspberry slushee 😀
Had a GREAT Saturday with my wife and kids! Took a day trip full of nonstop action, out in the summer HEAT all day, being active, enjoying our time together.
Home! I want a beer! Lol. I am day 33ish and I am craving "one" to reward myself for a great day. The AV is saying it's ok man, you got this under control, you have proven it - si have at it! It's fine!
But, no. I am about to run to the gas station and get 44 ounces of pure "the diabeetus" heaven a blue raspberry slushee
. I will post more later, gotta fight this off

As you know, those beers certainly would be pure heaven....for about 4-6 hrs, then tomorrow would come and pure hell would enter your universe for much longer than 4-6 hrs. At least that is my experience. Good on you for the slushee.

I'm back! Slushee in tow. I admit I took a gander at the beer cooler, ugh. My wife & kids are having a sleepover at my inlaws, I could buy all the beer I can drink and just have at it and no one would ever know. Tonight was a challenge, friends. I'm about 1/3 of the way through this slushee, and as I'm getting full the crave is fading, thankfully.

I'm glad you made a good decision.
I've heard so many stories about people who seem to think like, "Cat's away, mouse can play." Maybe your family would have been temporarily fooled, but it is your life that would be off-kilter. The shame/guilt cycle is every bit as ingrained as the alcohol cycle.
I am so glad to be a better person all around. Things go so much better without shame and guilt.

Tonight, the kids begged my wife for another "slumber party" at my inlaws (oh the benefits of summer vacation, ha). So, here I am again, the cat is away. Another blue raspberry slushee it is.
I wasn't that tempted by beer tonight like last night, the slushees are just that friggin' good!
