Don't be impressed, I had a lot of help. I still do.

A lot of things have changed. How I act, how I think, and how I feel are all different. Even an atheist can work the steps and experience recovery.

Thanks to everyone that came before me who showed me that not only is recovery possible, but who showed me how to go about it. And thanks to those who came after me and who continue to prove that recovery is possible and worth it.

If you're wondering if you can do this, or if it's worth it, the answer is yes. (No, I didn't believe it either.)
