Today is my 14th day sober. I've heard that only the person themselves can get sober but that we don't have to do it alone so thought I'd join this online forum :-)

I'm in England but this seems worldwide which I like.

Yes, I think it all comes around :-) I am just over three months, and trust me once you get through the first bit, things are actually really good. I know they are just words now but I have not been happier in a very long time. Most of the US guys are asleep now, I am in Australia so that is why I am here.

If you scroll down the bottom of this page you will see a drop down menu, Click on the daily support thread for new comers, then once that page comes up you will see one for July, I think they are over part 30 so you will have a lot of people that welcome you and the good thing is they are at the same time as you so will understand that even more. Feel free though to post and read all around the site. Lots to learn and lots to share. People understanding is a godsend and really solid advise based on experience.
