52 days a year gone forever....
One of my biggest motivators to get sober is time,
I have lost a lot drinking but nothing upsets me more than the time I have lost hungover in bed hiding from the world..
I just done a simple calculation that i waste on average 52 days a year sick in bed, Iam in absolute shock and can't believe it.!
It's no surprise how I have gained 35kgs in 2 years laying in bed 52 days a year.
Feel awful about it!!!!

We can all relate to the missed time regrets!
One of my big things is the "missed" money - misspent is perhaps more accurate. I have a sober tracker on my phone and one of its components is calculating the money I have saved not drinking.
Perhaps flipping your regret around to a point of gratitude - you now have 52 more days a year to feel good, be productive - to LIVE!

Hi Hercules,
Great motivation right there to stop drinking! I have lost 32 pounds since January. I would like to lose 10-15 more, but it is so nice to like how I look in clothes again, and. It try to cover everything up.
I feel so much better both mentally and physically with a little more than six months sober. You can do this!!!

Then we make a firm decision to never drink again.
Repent and make amends to all harmed.
Then, we recover from the wreckage of our past.
A nice sober day wished for all,
M-Bob
