Hi guys, back again (last attempt was 5/24 and I failed miserably). As I may have mentioned in a few threads, I was recently promoted to Front of house manager at the restaurant that I work at. The stress is overwhelming. I not only consume two shift drinks but continue to drink after. I have fallen back into my old patterns of promiscuity, reckless behavior, getting my heart broken and the withdrawals are back. I woke up with the shakes this morning, it's been a while since I've had those. I was scared I might have another seizure. I know I've told this same story on here before. I'm just sad and alone and needed to be reminded that there are others out there who have been through this or are currently experiencing struggles with trying to stay sober and finding little success. I love all you guys so much, and I'm embarrassed that I have been gone/ keep falling off the wagon.

I am sure you know that seizures can be very dangerous! Is there someone with you who can help you if needed?

Thanks cold fusion. I live with my family but they don't know what to do with me when I get this way :/

I remember hearing that I could quit drinking the moment that my urge to quit became stronger than my urge to drink....and that I needed to go to any measure.

Hi cornpone & welcome back! I'm sorry you've been drinking again -- I think multiple relapses wear a person down. The good news is that your last drink can be your last. And then you never have to feel this way again.

Do you have a plan to help you get sober again and stay that way?
