Never made it to the Nationals while I was drinking.
I'll be competing in the US Karate Federation National Championships Tournament in Pittsburg, July 14-17. Very excited!
I couldn't protect myself against a piece of wet toilet paper while I was drinking.
Every bit of meaningful progress I've achieved in my life has taken place outside of my comfort zone.

I've been having my "Rocky" moment lately, and I've been training like a man possessed. But in a good way. Been training six to seven days a week for the tournament.
I've also added kickboxing classes and fusion fitness classes to my karate training over the past couple of months.
I'm ready.

I'll be competing in both kata (forms) and kumite (fighting).
This is a demonstration of a team kata, though I'll be doing it individually.
This is one of my favorite videos. The women are very good. First they do the kata, then they do the interpretation of the kata...the kata with two attackers.
