You know what I lean on now when things get tough? My sobriety. I now get what it means when folks say that their sobriety is their everything. Thank god for it. If I didn't have it id be in a much worse place right now. Count your blessings my sober friends. Life's a whirlwind. Sometimes is hard to focus on what's good, but if we take a moment to think alone and listen to our hearts we'll always find the right answer. That's the truth of it.

Happy Monday.

Fantastic post, dear Arbor.

Sobriety is my 'life is good bottom line', too.

I hear you. Some days it's all I'm holding onto to make it through.

Exactly! Some days, some darkest hours, among all confusion, this is one sure thing. "At least I am sober" can carry you through anything.

Nice post Arbor. It's so interesting how what many of us fear early on....complete abstinence and the sobriety that goes with it....turns out to be something to treasure and protect. Looking back I was living in a house of cards on the verge of collapse. Sobriety still takes work for me, but is oh so worthy.

Sobriety first is so much more than not drinking. It's mental health, happiness and peace for the soul. Letting go of someone or something that doesn't bless my life can be painful but necessary to allow my spirit to be free.

I love this Arbor, and I love you.
And I so completely relate....I lean on my sobriety as well. And all of the tools that this journey has given me. It can get me through anything. And it has, and will continue to do so.

This is my life now...and I feel pretty blessed.
