20th day
Hi.
I have not posted a lot but I am here every day. Today is my 20th day of sobriety and I am grateful for every day without poison. I have weak moments, but I have been able to get through by reminding myself that every time I drink, I end up in the same place. My own personal hell. I started drinking at the age of 12. I am 38 now and just plain SICK of it. Sick of having to get that bottle every day and lose myself in it only to wake up worse than I was the day before. So very grateful for all of your posts and stories. Thank you.

20 days is amazing. Sounds like your doing great. You will find that those weak moments will become fewer and fewer and after a while, you'll end up going long periods and not even think about drinking. Keep doing what you're doing and you will get there. John
