I hope everyone is having a good sober night such as myself. I think I got past some of the nasty withdrawals but today I have been a little tired. I've never gotten past 43 days but I'm half way there. What I seem to think is when I get to 20 plus days my av always tell me I can have one drink, or that I deserve it, or my favorite "you deserve to have some fun" but after numerous sober tries I realized I can't have just one, and I deserve to be clear headed and sober, and I can have fun sober. This time is different for me. Av can kick rocks.

I use to celebrate a few days of sobriety by getting drunk. Sounds like a WC Fields joke but we have all done it.

Congratulations Tonib, 20 days is wonderful.
No matter what, just don't take that first drink....you sound so good and positive...it is great to be sober.

Drinking after 20 days is like taking a shower, then rolling in the dirt, before bed.

Remember to treat yourself like a drug addict.

Tonib. You can't get to day 43 without going through day 21, then 22.... And you can't get to 50 without going through 44, 45, 46...
