Holy Moly! I am BEYOND GRATEFUL for the massage I had this afternoon. I had no idea how bad shape I was in until she got to work on my shoulders. Walking out of there I feel like my right shoulder is 3 inches lower that it was when I walked in! Every muscle in my body feels like melted butter. I feel my breathing is deeper, my headache is almost gone. Magic!!!
I had a gratitude wake up call after reading the story of a lovely friend here on SR. I am:
Grateful for my 2 beautiful girls
Grateful I have found SR to help me on my journey to sobriety
Grateful my parents are still fit and healthy and enjoying their grandchildren
Grateful I have the things I NEED- home, food, job, family, friends
Grateful for the future whatever it may bring
I hope to add to this list as I become further in my recovery and see the little things in life as blessings.
Thanks for reading x
