I'm sorry, this probably isn't the right place to post this question, but I couldn't figure out where or how to elsewhere.
Yesterday myself and a couple of others were discussing essential oils and a homeopathic remedy for anxiety.
Are we allowed to say the brand names? Are we allowed to say where we bought the items?
Thank you.

In terms of your question, I think basically naming the brands or purchase locations for something that is related to posts/recovery isn't a problem as long as it doesn't violate Rule 1 or 2 (Advertising and Outside Agendas) For example, I wouldn't post links to a commercial site where there are advertisements or where one could buy the products, or talk about sales on products, promotions, etc. But to say something to the effect of "I buy lavender oil at xyz and find it helps me relax" would be fine.
I would also caution to make sure you don't post information that could be considered medical advice. Even things like homeopathic remedies or vitamin therapies may not be right for everyone. Again, general info is fine but be careful not to cross the line.
Hope that helps!
