Day One - AGAIN
Day One - AGAIN
Well back to day one - again.....
I hate this place.....your hands shake, you sweat, you're hungry but can't keep anything down, your heart is racing, the disappointment in people's eyes.....I really hate this place....
But I am grateful to be back here and able to face another day one...not everyone gets that chance.

Welcome back Samantha. I'm glad you have another chance as well. Any thoughts on what you might do differently this time to make hike sobriety more permanent? As you said, we don't get unlimited chances to start over.
Welcome back, and remember, no matter how many day 1's you have, NEVER stop fighting and NEVER give up on yourself!
Have you thought about what you can do differently this time to make it the last time you ever have to be in this place again? Have you considered counseling, keeping a journal, going to meetings or finding a sober support group, volunteering to keep yourself busy, etc.? It always helps to look back and see where things went wrong and what can be done differently this time to make it work.

It's great to see you, Samantha. It won't take too long - you'll get through this misery & then you'll be free. You never have to go back there. Look forward to a better day - you can do it.

I have decided that I will not be going to therapy anymore for right now. I need some time to focus all my attention on my sobriety first.....sadly the other stuff isn't going anywhere but I want to be as healthy as possible when I do finally address it.
