2 weeks today

Just made it to two weeks. Surprised I have. Been so stressed at work the last two weeks I would normally go home and drink wine.
I know I'm dealing with the stress better not drinking.

Looking forward to continuing sober.

Way to go on two weeks! Keep up the great work. Dealing with stress is very difficult especially when you have quit drinking recently. You are doing great.

Congratulations on your two weeks! I am sure it's much easier to deal with all that stress without the added constant guilt of drinking/sobering up. Stay strong!!

Way to go! I agree that drinking only makes the stress worse, much worse.

It took me a long time to realize that alcohol only increases stress. It reduces stress for a short period of time and then the creepies set in for a much, much longer time. When I finally got sober I really began to notice how much more relaxed I was. Simple things like driving, going to work in the morning, meeting people were a pleasure once again.

Congratulations on the two weeks sober.

Once sobering up I got a little taste of the below -- nice -- enjoy.
