I've almost made it to my longest stretch of sobriety in nine years. My longest stretch was 10 days. I woke up this morning and realized that.

I also realized it's been nine days since the last time my wife has told me "don't you remember we talked about that last night?" "Obviously you don't you were drunk" I don't miss that at all and the times I would get indignant when she would ask how much have you had and I would always lie. It's a great day to be sober and alive!!!

I've had too many of those nights as well. Sober is so much better! Congratulations on 9 days!

Ugh! Reminds me of all the lies I told my husband. I would also get indignant with his questions.

So nice we don't have to lie anymore...

Well done for being sober! It's great to have more control. I found that out myself. Unfortunately a relapse so now back at day 1 :/

I really need this place so I can see others are doing the same and somehow that feels comforting, all the sobriety happening here
