Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there - and the dads who need to take on a dual role!
Our children are our greatest gift, and at some point we hope they see how hard we've tried to do what's best for them, even when the decisions were the hardest.

Thank you, C-OH Dad! I am looking forward to my first active addiction-less Mother's Day in 6 years. The kids and I have NOTHING planned, except for a haircut for my 16-year-old DD. There will be no fancy Mother's Day brunch, no huge bouquet of Mother's Day flowers. And I could not be happier. Because this year, Mother's Day will have PEACE.

Happy Mother's Day to you all too! And to the dads who do it all...your kids notice too. 
My day will be filled with my boys helping to finish building our paver patio, so we can end with a fire at night. Been working for a few weeks and can't wait to see the finished product! I hope the rain doesn't get in the way.

i sent my daughter flowers and chocolates today to thank her for giving me the best reason ever to celebrate Mom's Day! Traditionally we attend the Mariners game on Mom's Day but they are out of town this year, so we will be attending the United Way of King County All-Star Softball Classic on May 22nd instead!!! We've been meaning to go for years, so this is our year! Proceeds support struggling youth and young adults in Seattle and King County. so it's a total win-win!
