Day 10 yey
I have reached day 10 sober. Energy is still really up and down but the thoughts and feelings for alcohol are reducing.
Work is crazy and normally I would go home and drink but have avoided it.
I realized that if I drink the coping mechanism for work right now would be reduced..
Hopefully tomorrow won't be as bad as last friday.
I've also lost some weight which is good. I'm going back to the doctor in a few months to check my liver enzymes. They were high last time checked.
I feel good that I'm making an effort to look after my health,
Just need to get my head ready to stop the smoking

Congratulations on day 10, that is a huge accomplishment. I am sure that in a fe months if you keep up the sobriety you will have a difference in your liven enzymes. I know mine got back on track in just weeks. Everyone is different of course, but a check up is always a good idea and makes you feel good to see your progress.
The smoking is difficult. I have recently stopped as well. I find the two go hand in hand for me though so quitting both made it easier. Best of luck.
