90/90!!!!
90/90!!!!
Today marks 90 days of continuous sobriety. I'd like to thank this group for all of the positve input to me and other members of this forum. SR has been a major platform in my recovery. My life has changed in a relatively short amount of time. I still have cravings and drinking and drugging dreams occasionally but basically I get back to business. I truly understand the whole one day at a time concept. I've made so many new friends at my AA group and this is something I believe I desperately needed. I'm accountable and present in my life today. I know AA isn't for everyone and I respect that, but it's working for me. I couldn't do it without the fellowship, my sponsor, meetings, and working the steps. Today, I know there is a lot more work to do. I'm grateful I have today. I really didnt get what I deserved for all of the chaos and pain I've caused. I will remember that always as I move forward on my journey. Thanks everyone! Peace...out
P.S. I actually attended 92 meetings in 90 days. Some days were harder than others.

Congratulations on 90.
AA helped me turn it around. I had avoided it for years, and then I finally got desperate enough to give it a go. I never did 90 in 90, but I worked pretty hard in the beginning. I recently passed the 6 year mark. I don't work on my sobriety as hard as I used too, I'm in a comfortable sobriety "maintenance" phase. But I know know where, and how, to get help if I need it.
