Day 2

I have been away from this site too long. I have fallen back in to my old ways. I did what so many do by thinking moving and changing my environment will help. It did at first but proved only temporary and I fell back in to my old habits of hiding liquor so I could get drunk after only "having a few". This needs to stop I have spoken with a sober friend and I am quitting for good!

Welcome back and great you have a sober friend to help you, have you considered coming up with a recovery plan? In my own case, it is what keeps me sober as I can turn to it should the need arise in a time of craving etc.

I have come up with a plan. Hiking and mountain biking. Also hitting the gym I have downloaded the sr app and that will help I also have my sober friend on speed dial. He has agreed to help me

keeping busy and having support to call is a good start

There are some other really good ideas here though:
