It's a never-ending struggle...

Of Zac Efron
He has joined Alcoholics Anonymous and also has been seeing a therapist. "I just started going," he says. "And I think it's changed my life. I'm much more comfortable in my own skin. Things are so much easier now."

Still, he admits of his battle with addiction, "It's a never-ending struggle."

Good for him. He's right, it's never-ending.

It may be for him, and I wish him well. It doesn't have to be. Or perhaps instead, it isn't that way for everyone.

Kudos to Mr. Efron for going public with his personal battles with addiction! So often celebrities are notorious for vapid and stupid behavior; people like the Kardashians and Hiltons present a very poor example for young people to aspire to. But when the rich and famous own up to their struggles and failings I feel it makes the average folks feel a bit more "normal". They see that it's not just personal weakness that leads to addiction- even people with seemingly everything going for them can still fall victim to struggles with drugs and alcohol.

Good luck to him! I hope his recovery goes well, and I commend him for being brave enough to put his struggles out there where they might inspire others.

My Sobriety feels like a pair of comfortable old trainers , or a hug in a warm towel .

We all get to different places , we are all on a journey .

It might feel like that now but feelings do change .

Stay open to the possibility ,
