Made through another night sober. Night time is when I would drink. The last night I drank I woke up on the floor. Couldn't get up for awhile. So the next day I talked with my therapist and she recommended I go online and find a support group. Well when I opened my email I had a message from sober recovery. That was a weird situation. I joined the group and have checked in everyday. I want to thank everyone for their kind words and support.

The first days are the hardest, and then slowly you will notice it becomes more natural to not drink and the days will flow easier. YOU CAN DO THIS, keep reaching out, keep posting, keep moving forward no matter what that little voice tries to tell you.

Great job on another night sober, think about how much better your morning will be tomorrow because of your decision to not drink. YOU control whether you drink or not, doesn't it feel empowering to be able to decide NOT to drink?
