Hissy fit

I just had a full blown, I want wine and a cigarette hissy fit. Grabbed a water, brushed my teeth and put myself to bed. In bed now and much more relaxed. Over 4 months and still have my moments. My poor husband!!

Great job!! Sometimes it's best just to go to bed.

I'm glad to hear you made it through. They still happen for me too. I just got back from yoga which helped. Bedtime is a good thing.

You might still have hissy fits but look at you now! You made all the right choices and in the morning you'll be so grateful for that

Keep moving forward, and know you aren't the only one who randomly wants to stomp their foot and be like BUT I WANT ITTTTTT.

So glad to read you made it through it!! You will feel elated tomorrow morning with another day sober , clear head and no cotton ball mouth.

Throwing a hissy fit is much better than grabbing a drink! Good for you!

I have found that Tetris is an excellent distraction when those urges come up. It occupies the brain and the hands long enough for the craving and nervous energy to pass.

I'm familiar with those hissy fits! good job on getting through it, I always calm down when I say 'no' and go to bed, too.
