90 Days
I've been doing pretty well, but today is tough, and the craving is actually worse today than it has been the whole 90 days. I so just want to not feel anything. My head keeps telling me just drink you know there's no way you can keep this up anyway. I'm wound up so tight I don't know how to change how I feel.
I'm really proud you've made it 90 days Eliasson.
Maybe rather than changing the way I felt, I found recovery means accepting how I feel at any given moment - I do what I can to fix whatever is bugging me, but sometimes you just have to sit through it.
Have you tried urge surfing before: it's listed here along with some other cravings tips:

Number one thing there would be eat something if you haven't already
Things will get better - without a drink.
Lean on the support here - all night if you have to
you can do this Eliasson

Congratulations!!! Good job!!! I also have thoughts of drinking and using too. Sometimes they are very strong because I start to romance them in my head. But, I play it through right to the end... after it's all said and done...that awful feeling...ughhh. That takes me right to doing the right thing...getting out of my head. It's a bad place to be when I'm craving. I try to help someone or do something helpful like call and ask someone how they are. Simple stuff...it works. Hang in there...try not to cave in....I understand totally how it feels....peace. ..out
That's awesome, Eliasson! I'm sorry it was a tougher day than most but hang in there. For me there were good days and bad ones, and I still had some rough patches til around 6 months. But it gets easier and the good days start to outnumber the bad.
