30 days
Hello everyone. It's not my first time posting, but I haven't posted recently. But I have 30 days sober today.
While it feels like an accomplishment, it is tempered by some frustrations that I'm going through right now. I have a mess to clean up. It seems I may have angered some people along the way. But I only have myself to blame I guess. All I can do is stay sober today and do my best.
That being said, for those just starting out, it is worth it to quit. Hang in there!

Congrats on 30 days Bluedog! Staying sober in itself can help your status and trust with others moving foward, so you are right on there as well. And it's far easier to clean up messes sober than drunk!

Another thing too is peoples' reactions. If I tell a non-alcoholic I've got 30 days, they just shrug their shoulders. But other alcoholics understand. The encouragement goes a long way, especially when you're surrounded by people who don't.
Thanks for the responses.
