Hey there mom!
Why do you smell like a stinky skunk and an ash tray butt,
Why are you angry you have to get up,
All I wanted was your love,
Now i'm crying over your irritation of my need for a hug,
Mommy your tired and i'm jumping on the bed,
You won't get up so i'll join you instead,
Pulling on you'r toe's kissing you feet,
Wishing you'd get out of bed for me,
My dear sweet child,
I didn't relize I had left you behind,
I had no idea you were at my side,
For i was blind,
Blinded by my addiction,
I could not see,
The evil in me,
Not a day soon enough,
Did i relize to survives not enough,
Chasing to the power of another puff,
Just to lift my head,
With irritation i rushed instead,
Of loving you,
I evacuated my guilty head,
Left you alone,
Dragged you along with me,
Leaving scars in time,
In your Heart and Mine,
My dear sweet child,
I am so very sorry it took awhile,
Ive been ill,
In which time stood still,
My heart was empty,
My eyes where filled,
My heart was crying,
Most of all I only knew that world,
I thought I was doomed to fail,
So i let my addiction hold m still,
I promise you this,
My addiction will never prevail,
For i have seen the pain it's caused you,
An identical monster to the one I've seen,
As a child it's followed me,
I'm stopping this monster before he to steals you from me.
May god bless you, and may he bless me to make it one more hour
one more day on more week and soon a life time of sobriety.

Thank you all so much for being so welcoming.
I'm sure you guy's all know the impact it made on me when I relize someone actually read my post and my words that are never shared out of shaim are heard.
I've been struggling for along time with this alone because i was afraid of the judgment and disappointment in my family co-worker, and friends faces. I'm am really glad i decided to reach out for more support by joining this web site.
