Hey all, I feel a bit like a lurker as I read a whole lot more than I post.... I picked up my 60 day chip yesterday and it feels like a small miracle to have made it this far already. I feel happier and even better, I feel freedom from the chains of my addiction. They are there still and always will be, but I can move around a bit in them now and they are weakening as I grow stronger.
I know it is only 60 days but it is longer than i've ever gone and I am on a path I have never tried before- I admitted I was powerless, joined AA, got a sponsor, am working the steps, and started reading SR.
I could not have done it without AA and my god and this forum. I read daily and the experience, strength, and hope on here has helped me more than I can tell any of you! So for everyone posting on here and sharing, I just wanted to say Thank you and I am eternally grateful.
