Can't see this ending
I'm only 24 but known for years I had a problem with alcohol managed to get 3 months sober at the start of the year but I'm right back at rock bottom had to quit my job today before I was sacked and will be evicted at the end of the month..can't go back to my mum's for all the trouble my drinking has caused her so I don't know where or what to do
Hi Alex, I'm sorry that you're in such a difficult position. Do you have a friend you can stay with for a little while? For sure, stopping drinking is going to be the best way to find a new job and a new place to live. Have faith that you can turn things around.
Hiyas -- agreed that your first step should be sobriety. It'll be hard to make a cogent plan to deal with the other issues when your mind is clouded with drink.
Good luck, and stay strong.

Keeping you in my prayers! I am also 24 dude and we can do this! I def don't want the rest of my 20s to include alcohol/drugs . Accommodation wise is there a sober living facility or a cousins/relatives/friends place you can stay at until you get back on your feet? Pray dude it does wonders try to go to a meeting and post on here daily

Hi Alex,
I'm sorry you are in such a tough situation. Getting sober will allow you to approach things with a clear head. Did you find a place to stay? What kind of work do you do? Maybe someone can help you find something in your field.
You are still young, and have lots of time to enjoy life, and not waste any more time drunk. You will find lots of support on SR, glad you are here!
