Day 72!!! Never been sober this long in over 20 years by choice (3 pregnancies but couldn't wait to get back on it !!!) have been doing okay but was reaching a point where I was feeling I needed to take the next step. So today is the first day I have got off my butt and had a workout. I was keep fit mad as a teenager and forgot how good it feels to ache from exercise (only managed 25 minutes and am currently approx. 2 stone over weight) but small steps!,, my new goal is to eat better and regular exercise to lose some of my excess baggage. On a serious note, I would have lacked motivation to do anything if I was still drinking wine most nights.

Good for you Finallygrownup 👍 since starting my sobriety some 3 months ago (not keeping track of days) I joined up to a 90 day health challenge...food and exercise. I have lost 18 lbs...14.5 inches...and am back in the gym and have started training for a 5K in May...3 months ago none of this would have been possible. It feels great. Keep up the good work x

That's wonderful! I have never been 72 days sober in over 10 years and am looking forward to posting that soon! I have had pregnancies as well, but always got right back to it as soon as possible.
