17 Weeks

Now at 17 weeks sober. Had my last Employee Assistance financed counseling session on Friday. I am going to continue these sessions at a minimum of once a month on my own dime. These really help to keep me accountable. It is like having a personal trainer - you don't want to not show up and you don't want to show up not having done your part.

Getting back into exercise is really starting to show benefits - down about 13 pounds and people are really starting to notice.

I know I can not get complacent mentally and need to maintain this is a one day at a time journey.

Keep to your plans folks, we can do this!!!

17 weeks is awesome. Glad you're sticking with what's working for you. That's a great example for those of us following in your footsteps in early recovery.
