I have made it back to three weeks. I haven't been to three weeks since mid-January. I am focusing all of my efforts on my recovery, and my plan keeps evolving as I find new tools and discard old ones that don't work for me. And right now, I have the memory of my last bout of alcohol withdrawal fresh in my memory. I am still in the revulsion stage, which gives me an opportunity to work on maintaining my motivation and continuing to develop strategies for when the honeymoon is over and cravings start trying to sneak in. But, this is definitely the least white-knuckling that I have ever done is sobriety.

Thanks everyone! I am celebrating my three days with thai food, yoga, a massage, and I am starting on building a beautiful custom night stand for my wife to surprise her with when she gets back in town. I have been doing a liver detox cleanse and drinking a pint to a pint and a half of fresh vegetable juice every afternoon as my "happy hour." I have also been having a sea weed detox bath three days a week, and the combination of all of this is really starting to show. My skin is clearing up and my eyes have gone from dull grey back to bright blue. And tomorrow, I get off of work at 1:00 and just need to pick up my bike from getting a tune up, and then I will be safely at home and off of the road before the St. Patrick's Day amateurs are in full force.
