One month today
Thank you to all the people that provided encouragement to not only myself but everyone else in need. A special "shout-out" to those folks with years of sobriety who post and reply often to oldies and newbies alike.

I have been blessed in such a short time to have acquired a strong aversion to alcohol(how or why I don't know or frankly care)and will defend and protect my sobriety as if it were my only child.

This is not a goodbye but a beginning with SR. I hope I can be of service.

P.S. It will always still be one day at a time......

Congrats..I have one month tomorrow.
I am also protecting my sobriety this time.....I had 8 years at one time....and went back...I had been drinking on and off for 2 years.....periods of sobriety always started with a hospital visit.

Hold on to what you have and give it away! God bless.

You're right, we've got some great members here. Congrats on reaching one month! I'll be celebrating one month of sobriety on Wednesday. Couldn't have done it without SR.
