Unexpected AV visit
Unexpected AV visit
Well out of the blue my AV decided to pay a visit tonight. Don't know why as i am not doing anything different. i didn't have any worse a day than any other. I had no additional stress. For no reason that i can think off at all.
I really have been travelling down the road to recovery pretty well for the past couple of months with not much temptation popping into my head.
I just had a good feed and logged onto here to keep busy and it has passed for now
I think i best not take my recovery for granted as it just highlighted to me tonight that my struggle for sobriety is very real.

Good job getting through the urge.
My AV has been visiting lately also, I think it's the warmer days.
Tonight I was struggling with it so I got myself a big bowl of Fudge Swirl ice cream, crushed 4 oreos into it, and smothered it all with chocolate syrup.
My diet went right down the tubes but the AV is gone, lol.

Good job on getting past it! I have noticed that when my AV rears it's ugly head, it is usually unexpected and random-not necessarily an event or a time when I might expect it. It keeps us on our toes, I guess.
