New to the group
51 yo recovery alcoholic stepdad of 26 yo severe, practicing, alcoholic stepson who lives with us. Its really starting to effect our marriage. Need to talk to someone about it.

I should have also let you know that I am 3 years sober and living life like never before. It feels so good. But I am having serious difficulty with the situation with my stepson. Details upcoming to anyone who wants to chat.

Steve, I'm sorry for the difficulties in your relationship with your stepson. I hope that you can take care of yourself and that your stepson will decide to stop drinking. Do check out the links Carlotta posted.
