Day 30!

I threw a stone a mile far, I'm surprised my arm is still attached.

As I got closer to day 30, it became a mental milestone. And it feels so good to have reached it!

Yesterday I was feeling not as I should. Ups and downs. Emotional. Ending in depression. I also didn't even end up leaving the house even though I intended to. It was just one of those days.

Today I woke up feel normal again. Great actually. I think I'm still going to take it easy and rest. I'll pick things up again tomorrow.

30! My new milestone is 40. I like the idea of taking steps of 10 days as milestones.

You can have reasons, or you can have results, but you can't have both.

You are so over the physical addiction Mike.

Now for the mental battle.

I was pretty PAWS.d out at 30 days.

Paranoia...my new word for anxiety. I was like a baby in the woods.

If you don't feel much of that, you are lucky. Everyone is different.

Today, the world is much better. Still not walking on totally solid ground all day, but most of the day.

If you are feeling weird, don't relapse. Just roll the tape.

Alcohol is poison. Now you are clean. Stay clean. Live clean forever.

That is my plan.

Congratulations Mike! That is so inspiring! I like having progressive goals too...whether we started with one hour or one day at a time...I like the idea of counting by 10s for a while too. :-)

Congratulations. I think the ups and downs of sobriety are what others call life.

It took awhile to realize it is normal to have down days
