Awe, thanks y'all. Making me feel very welcomed. So far I've been doing alot of reading.. Feeling the site and people out a lil. At first I thought I was on the wrong site bc all I kept seeing was people who had stopped drinking.. But I've been seeing more now.. Again thank y'all for the kind encouraging words..
We're so glad to meet you, Nikki. I know what you mean - I felt a bit isolated as I got used to my new life. Things got a lot better, though. You can talk to us as much as you like - we understand.

Hi Nikki. Nice to meet you.
You have practically no friends? How did that happen? You sound delightful.
Btw, not being a native speaker of English, I wonder, are you male or female?
In other words: "I'm from Barcelona.", for those who remember Faulty Towers.
Oh and I'm not from Barcelona, I just like the expression.

Welcome Nikki
I'm sure you will find some very helpful people here. It's difficult not having lots of friends - have you thought about any activities that you would like to do to help meet people. It can be scary doing new things but it helps our self confidence grow to be a little out of our comfort zone.

Nikki welcome and congratulations on your recovery. Every day is a challenge and you will find the support you need here. Post as much as you need to and feel free to even reach out to me if you need a friend to chat with. ❤️
