Well, the weeks are flying by since I started my new job and its been a great focus for me , so much so that I almost forgot that I have a problem with Alcohol!!! By that I mean I have stopped counting days, and haven't been reading daily SR threads. I am not sure if this is good or bad.....
..I have no urge to drink and up until right now tonight this is the first I have given it a thought for sometime.
What I mustnt forget is why I stopped in the first place, so just come on here tonight for a reality check. Plus I am going out on Thursday, this will be my first proper OUT OUT scenario since I quit back in November. I feel fine about it and have a plan, I am also driving so will turn up prepared. I just wonder how much of the night I will witness before getting bored! Oh well, just wanted to check in really. Oh and confess to getting ever so slightly addicted to cadburys dime bar chocolate family size.....better address this new addiction before I become the size of a house.....but a sober one

Well done zlhzlh, the fact that you are not counting the days sounds like a good thing. I think it is definitely worth checking in from time to time just to reinforce your reasons for quitting

Good work zlh. You sound in a good place. Just keep that focus and avoid complacency... The AV is a sneaky sod and will attack when you're not expecting.
