a small victory
I'm quite proud of myself tonight. My old buddy Carl showed up out of the blue with a bag of powder(my 2nd favorite buzz).Pulled it out and showed it to me.After I put my eyes back in their respective sockets I respectfully declined.Told him I've come too far to turn back now!I told him what a great feeling it is to be free of those chains that held me down so tight. How good it is to wake up in the morning not coughing ,and able to breathe thru my nose.I miss weed and coke and all the rest.I also miss my ex wife but I never want to see her again either.Gonna be strong with God's help and the help of my family and of course all of you!19 days and counting!
Yeah Richie,
Congrats on 19 days. Also on sticking by your decision to stay clean and refuse your friend's poison! That is wonderful. Keep doing what you're doing. It is great to be able to wake up and breath, I can identify. It's great to not have to chase the drug anymore. If you don't pick it up, you won't have to put it down!
