100 days sober!
I am 100 days sober today, and I am so thankful to be here! My life has changed rapidly since getting sober. I feel so much better physically and mentally, but I am currently most thankful for my emotional improvement. I was miserable prior to getting sober.
I don't take sobriety for granted and work on it every day. One day at a time for me!

That is fantastic! It only gets better. I was always amazed at how much motivation I had to do things when previously all i wanted to do was sit around and drink. Whatever you are doing keep doing it!

Thank you!
I don't want to sound like everything has been easy, but it has been worth it.
My (now ex) ABF broke up with me about 40 days into my sobriety. It was a surprise to me at the time, and I was very sad. But I haven't had any cravings since that day, and I keep working on my sobriety. I know the cravings may come back at anytime. I am actually glad he broke up with me now. Being an alcoholic himself, it wasn't a good relationship. It was mostly based on drinking, I realized.
I did an IOP to help me get sober. I also do AA and have a sponsor. I volunteer at a detox facility on Saturday mornings. I read SR multiple times a day. I know I can't ever drink again, and that is something I accept.
Thank you for all of the support!

Texas,
So glad to meet you.
I am behind you at about 60, but feel the same way.
Had a terrible day yesterday with my sociopath ex about custody issues and really thought about drinking for the first time in ages, and then thought no way is that dude going to win.
Congrats.
