OK, Day 3. Day 1 felt crappy and slept horribly. Day 2 felt crappy and slept not too badly. So the sleep is better, but I STILL have a headache! So when can I hope to feel better?

Hi Beaglenut,

Congrats on making it to day 3. It will get better soon. I can't give you an exact day, but it gets better. The aches and pains will go away. Try taking an advil and a hot bath. Just try to relax, the hard part is almost over. Keep posting and let us know how you're doing. In the meantime, I'll say a prayer for you!

Sherry is right... it will get better.
I just wanted you to know that i am thinking about and praying for you as well.
It just takes time to fix the damage we do to our bodies and minds with addictions

Thanks! It's good to know there's an end out there. I'm just glad I slept better last night. That's certainly a blessing!

Hi beaglenut,

It does get better, that's for sure. We spent yrs. using and then expect to feel better right away. It's going to take a while for your body to adjust to being clean and for your brain chemistry to even out. Happy Hormones are secreted when we use synthetic drugs. Our body has to learn how to get the happiness flowing without synthetic means. It takes a while but it does get better and better each day you are clean.
