The illusion of control
Having the HARDEST time trying to get in the way of God's will and path for me. Please send prayers and hugs for me, as I am struggling to surrender to control over a particular event. Asking my higher power kindly, each day for serenity and strength to push through and accept this. Amen...

Ironically, maybe those who have the humility and intellectual perspicacity and perspective to recognize their need for a God are actually stronger than the proud, who are too weak to admit their own human limitations. That’s the paradox of depending on God — the more you’re weak, the more you depend on God. And the more you depend on God, the stronger you get. As in any relationship, time together fosters closeness. “My grace is sufficient for you; there is power in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
My prayers are with you in that you will choose to, "Intelligently Delegate," control to God in order to regain control over helpless, trapped, feelings that render you out of control.

What Red said...sometimes the path is so clearly laid out-but our selfish nature tries to make excuses and other things to keep us where we are. I pray you have eyes to see and ears to hear Him! Give Him the reigns bc He always knows best. Psalm 56:3. My daughter and I chant this often-goes for anything!

A little eastern wisdom for you. Maybe it's more my thing than yours since a lot of people on here tend to quote scripture, but the basic intent is the same.

A prayer that helps me is:
God if my prayer limits Your Will and Your plan for my life, please disregard my request. Amen.
Just helps me remember His Plan & His Will is always better - even when I don't understand

Sending hugs hugs and prayers. I feel my path was laid out quite clearly, but I wrestled with it, fought it, and truly believed I could not see it. God talks, we just have to listen and not try to control, which is hard.
