40 Days!
Yes, today is Day 40 for me!
Thank you, SR, for your support along the way. In the early days, especially (definitely the last two weeks or so of my drinking career before my quit date), you were immensely helpful, breaking my isolation and giving me a place to tell my story.
I'm still popping in here daily but a few may have noticed that I've "changed the subject" so to speak, and nowadays mostly discuss the benefits and opportunities of sobriety. I honestly have no alcohol-related problems to report anymore other than a little care and feeding to get life fully back in order and optimized. Stuff like pumping up the social life and spring-cleaning my house.
I'm very blessed to be sober and well, and I believe that in giving me this gift, my Creator desires me to use it to live a fully, happy, and prosperous life.
