Howdy

Friday night here in London and just checking in. Weekends always used to be full of booze as my go to thing to unwind after a busy week. Now a cup of tea and a few chocolates hit the spot even better! AND I get to wake up with a clear head and no regrets. Boom!

How's everyone else doing?

Well Liz, thank you for asking.
I was having a choc or two myself,
and you've inspired me to make some tea to go with.
I also like waking up clear and regret-free every morning.

Wishing you a very happy sober weekend

I'm with you both on this one, I am not feeling guilty for all the ice cream I've consumed in the past two days!

I went to a meeting and saw lots of my lovely sober friends. Got home and made the mistake of having a ready meal (so long since I've had one - eugh, they're not good and won't be doing that again in a hurry.) No chocs for me as I've given them up for Lent. I'll make up for it when we get to Easter!!

I was going to give up chocolate for lent too but I just couldn't do it! So good on you. You'll have a great time making up for it at Easter!

I'm only now at a point in my sobriety ( 2 years on 5th March) where I'd consider such a move. I also need to lose some weight to fit in my spring clothes, so it will hopefully help with that as well.
