Heya guys,

How are you doing today recovery-wise?

I just woke up from a nightshift, had some coffee. Doing some recovery-reading and reflection. Walking the dog. Having dinner with my family.
Meditation. Some stuff around the house.

Just a normal life I guess.
A sober life.

It looks so easy when i'm writing this down. But is hasn't and it's continious work.

I am doing just fine in my recovery. It's been over six years now and I still get a thrill out of waking up feeling good.

Things are going pretty good for me - working on my anxiety as I have been for a while and there are definitely more good days than bad. Coming here to SR every day also helps me in many ways - I can help others, but I also get a daily reminder of why i'm here when hearing from newcomers and others who are still struggling. I value the community aspect and that we are all in this together more than anything else.

I'm 8.5 months in and really struggling. Dealing with a huge resentment and prayer and meditation are not helping. I can't drink over it so I'm pretty much stuck in misery. It sucks.

Misery sucks.
But it's great you're facing it head-on cause it can't be avoided sometimes.
