Me? A Newcomer?
I've been here just under years, and occasionally think I' not a newcomer. Then I remember those people with 15, 20, or 30 years of sobriety and suppose that in many senses I am still a newcomer. I don't mind either. I come to this area, and to other areas on the SR forum, and I read and post, and learn and share. Both things strengthen my sobriety, so it's a win-win situation.
So basically the way I understood it when I arrived at this website is that you're always welcome here in Newcomers (both now, or in 5 years time), but don't feel that you can't explore other areas as well as this one.

Pressmetilihurt,
First, welcome or welcome back whichever you prefer!
Newcomer? Not sure with 20 days - congratulations!
A very wise person (might have been here at SR) once said that newcomers were the lifeblood of the programs because they remind us where we were before we had our programs, and where we could easily return.
Keep coming back,
Jim
